Franciscan Apple (USA)

The Franciscan Apple pattern is a highly collectible and classic dinnerware design initially produced by Gladding, McBean & Co. in 1940 under the Franciscan brand in California. This hand-painted pattern features raised-relief designs of red apples, green leaves, and brown branches set against a warm ivory background, evoking a rustic, country charm. The USA backstamp identifies pieces made in the United States before production moved to England in 1984. Wedgwood still produces Franciscan Apple today, although the design is slightly different from the original.

In addition to the pieces with the USA back stamp, we also offer Franciscan Apple produced in England and Franciscan Apple stemware.
